Antique Party!
A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph a lovely re-opening that happened at my favorite antique store, and I was thrilled about it - I love antiques! (I always picture using them as props...) The store is called "Barn & Charm", and it's located in the most rustic part of Santa Clarita: Newhall.
A bouquet of lovely women work there - all super friendly, helpful and outgoing. This re-opening party was held to celebrate that the store recently doubled its square footage, and brought in a hoop of new vendors. Everything was perfect - the look of the place, the delicious sweets, the music, the guests, the antique treasures that were purchased...
If you're in the area and you haven't stopped by "Barn & Charm" yet --- I highly recommend it. They have something for everyone - old or young; woman or man; bride or groom; big or little; happy or sad; photographer-looking-for-props or a-mom-looking-for-nursery-decor...I'll say it again; something for everyone! They also host creative workshops there, and among others I can mention hand lettering, decoupage, and ugly lamp makeovers (yes, that's right!). In addition, they do furniture makeovers, and will transform dull dressers and cabinets into refined and elegant scoops you'll WANT in your home. Needless to say; the ladies in the shop are very crafty!
"Barn & Charm" doesn't only sell antiques - they have anything from trendy bracelets or necklaces, gorgeous kitchen decor, soaps and body scrubs that'll make you wanna soak in the tub all day, lovely paintings, adorable baby clothes, and to top it off - they have an incredible succulent bar!
