In need for a fun afternoon with your kids? Well, I've got a fun idea for you: Go explore Travel Town!
This very cute train museum is located right off the 134 freeway (next to LA Zoo and Griffith Park) and the 'town' is just as fun for the adults as it is for the kids. We go there with Olivia all the time - she absolutely LOVES trains!
In addition of seeing old (and huge!) locomotives, railroads, and antique wagons, there's also a cute little train that you can ride and it takes you around the park. Pack a snack/lunch, bring a picnic blanket, your camera (duh!), sunblock, and make a day out of it! Choo Choo!
