Olivia and I were recently asked to do a photo shoot to promote a local store called 'Empress Arts'. Olivia and I discovered a new hike in the area yesterday afternoon. Last summer, in the Sand Fire, the place literally went up in smoke, and you can still see traces of ashes and burned brush in the mountains surrounding the hike. This winter's heavy rainfall did the place good though; It now has lovely green fields mixed with wheat that's already starting to dry up.
